Magnolia Ian’s Red
This is a free flowering hybrid that will usually set flower buds in the first year from planting. The colour is similar to ‘Vulcan’ but not as dark, but over the season it tends to produce good coloured flowers more consistently than ‘Vulcan’. ‘Ian’s Red’ was raised by Ian Baldick in his garden in Drury, South Auckland.
